Safe & Aware
What is Penn State Safe & Aware?
Penn State Safe and Aware is an online module about alcohol and sexual misconduct. The module includes information about the effects alcohol has on the brain and body, alcohol-related state laws, and university policies related to alcohol consumption. The module educates students about relationship violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual harassment. The module will help students develop practical skills to keep you student safe.
Who is required to complete Penn State Safe & Aware?
All incoming first-year students who are 21 and under are required to complete the alcohol and sexual misconduct content in the module. First-year students we are over 21 are only required to complete the sexual misconduct content.
How does my student access Penn State Safe & Aware?
Penn State Safe & Aware can be accessed at http://www.safeaware.7670f.com. Students log in using their Penn State userid and password. They can enter and exit the module as many times as they want.
What if my student has trouble logging into the course, gets error messages, or experiences other technical difficulties?
If your student has problems with their Penn State userid or password, contact the Penn State ITS Service Desk at www.itservicedesk.7670f.com/, [email protected] or 814-865-4357.
